By January 31, 2017August 8th, 2019No Comments

Some of us must have the best upcoming phones as soon as they come out. Others just want to know what new phones are coming out in 2017 so they can have some idea of what is fresh and exciting in the cell phone technology space.

Whether you need to be one of the first adopters or you just want to know what the best phones of 2017 will be, here’s a sneak peek at the prospective 2017 Phone Lineup.

Most Anticipated Phones of 2017

Drumroll, please — here are the most anticipated phones coming up in 2017:

1. The Apple iPhone 8/iPhone 8 Plus

The latest iteration of the iPhone is always eagerly anticipated. Unfortunately, iPhone fans may have to wait a while, as this one is not expected to hit stores until late in 2017. As the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, this version is generating a lot of excitement and speculation.

It looks to have a slim, glass body with a screen that goes all the way to the edges and no more Home button. It’s also expected to be extremely fast, may feature wireless charging and may even have security features like an eye scanner.

2. Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Edge, Note 8

People are exploding with speculation about the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy, and fans won’t have to wait nearly as long to see this one as they will for the iPhone. The one thing that we can verify definitively is that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature the Snapdragon 835 SoC processor. Fans can also look forward to a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, up to 128 GB of internal storage, an iris scanner and possibly a no-bezel display.

3. The HTC 11

The HTC 10 was criticized for its slow processing and poor battery life relative to other phones of its generation. HTC is attempting to reinvent itself with the HTC 11, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

4. The Xiaomi Mi 6

Part of a possible new wave of quality Chinese smartphones, this Android phone will feature the Snapdragon 835 SoC processor and is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM, a QHD 2K Super AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a fingerprint sensor.

5. OnePlus 4

The OnePlus 3 is among the most popular Android smartphone, so naturally, the OnePlus 4, expected to come out in the second quarter of 2017, is eagerly anticipated. It looks to feature a five-inch full HD display, with a Quad-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and will run on an Android 7.0 Nougat-based Oxygen OS.
